About me

I am an experienced and fully ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist based in Hall Green. I work with all aspects of child and family mental health with parents, children and young people aged 0-25. I specialise in work with boys and fathers and am trying to do more of this type of work.

Parent work-anxiety reduction, understanding behaviour as communication, how can I best parent my child or teenager?

Pre school 0-4-sleeping, feeding and separation difficulties

Primary school 4-11-concentration difficulties, teacher/parent concerns, behaviour difficulties

Secondary school-early adulthood 11-25-exam stress, conduct problems, anxiety, depression, neuro-developmental difficulties

If you are a father and have lost your way in your relationship with your child/ren and/or their mother please get in touch. If traditional therapy isn't for you we can think about what else might be helpful for example walking and talking or online support.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified social worker and ACP registered child and adolescent psychotherapist with over twenty eight year's experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and families in multiple settings including the NHS, charitable sector and schools. Most of my private work involves time limited assessment work using a tried and tested model of an initial parent consultation, 3/4 meetings with your child/young person and a review meeting.
