About me
I am an experienced and fully ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Adult Psychotherapist in Training based in Hall Green. I work with all aspects of child and family mental health with adults, parents, children and young people aged 0-25.
I do this work in Hall Green as well as in schools and other settings. Contact me if you are interested. I have lots of experience working with staff and students in boarding schools including boarders and day students.
I am currently offering reduced fee adult psychotherapy. This might be one off consultations, once weekly work and intensive 3 x weekly psychotherapy 'on the couch' The intensive work requires a commitment of two years and begins with an initial consultation with an experienced adult trained colleague. This treatment is suitable for people with significant challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, past trauma who want to make a change.

Parenting your pre-school child- managing separation, having realistic expectations, promoting happiness and tolerating sadness
Parenting your primary aged child- settling in, returning after the holidays, entering the online world slowly and safely

Training, qualifications & experience
I am an ACP registered child and adolescent psychotherapist with over twenty eight year's experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and families in multiple settings including the NHS, charitable sector and schools. Most of my private work involves time limited assessment work using a tried and tested model of an initial parent consultation, 3/4 meetings with your child/young person and a review meeting. Some of this leads on to once weekly work. As well as my NHS funded Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training I am currently undertaking long term, specialist training in Psychoanalytic Adult Psychotherapy at the Birmingham Trust for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
