About me

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I use an integrative approach drawing on such therapeutic models as Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I believe there is no single approach that works for every client in all situations. Integrative counselling provides a unique, flexible and personalised approach that is suited to your unique individual needs.

I offer short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy, working with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, loss and bereavement, self-esteem, motivation, self-defeating behaviour, relationship issues, social anxiety, loneliness, life transitions and many more.

I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative process generating the empowerment necessary to help you build tools for positive change in your life

I use this collaborative approach to help you define therapeutic goals which will allow us to work together on a plan drawing on a varied toolkit to assist in the achievement of your desired outcomes. We will explore experiencing of personal issues you bring to counselling sessions and look for meaning which will allow you to gain a greater sense of self and your potential.

Take the first step to connect with your true self; connecting with your true self brings a sense of ease, empowerment stability and meaning. Email or call me to book an initial consultation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
