Stephanie Clark MBACP, DIp
Hello my name is Stephanie , I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor. Day to day life can be very hard and at times become exhausting. Together we can build a safe therapeutic environment where we can explore worries and concerns that may be causing you emotional distress. It may be something in your past that might be stopping you from moving on in life . In life we all have periods of feeling low. We don’t know why but it happens to us all. The therapy I can offer can help discover issues that might be causing distress & anxiety in your life.
Talking though difficult and emotional times, can help us to understand the way in which we feel. Accepting difficulties in life can enable a person to move on. Working together in a relaxed and trustworthy environment, we can explore feelings and emotions. Using skills from different theory’s will help & be beneficial in resolving life’s issues & moving on.
My experiences in both counselling and life has given me the ability to understand & look at issues from another perspective. Showing empathy & being non judgemental when working with clients. I respect clients knowing we are all different, individuals & all of us look at life in a different way.
Helping clients who may be feeling depressed to look at the wheel of depression and learn ways to change it. Help you to celebrate your individuality and see that you can achieve what ever you wish to. Life is never all up hill but having the skills and resilience to keep going at these times is something we can work on together.
I am working in a mental health setting for adults and have done for a number of years, I have experience and am qualified to work with a range of mental health issues and concerns.
I have experience with clients who are struggling to understand and move forward from childhood experiences I understand the difficulties that past events can have on the future. Some people unfortunately never have the benefits of therapy and find themselves stuck in the past which can effect how we live our life today.
I am fully insured and hold a full DBS certificate.
