I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist who has been practising counselling for over 10 years.
I can confidentially help clients with any presenting problem or who are just struggling with day to day issues. You may be suffering from anxiety or relationship issues. Sometimes you might not even know what is wrong; you may be feeling sad or like you need some space and time for you and for someone to just to listen!
I have a special interest and extensive experience in the field of addiction and developmental childhood trauma.
My counselling experience has been in a variety of settings including 6 years in Her Majesty’s Prison Service and 5 years in private rehabilitation clinics. I have also worked with children and young people in the community. I currently manage the Addiction Treatment Programme at The Priory Hospital in Roehampton, London.
As well as being a highly experienced addiction therapist I am a qualified developmental childhood trauma therapist. I have a passion for helping all of my clients look at how their childhood experiences have influenced their emotional development and how this may be impacting their quality of life today.
My training gives me a humanistic basis allowing empathy and ultimate faith in your ability to be your own best guide and healer. This combined with my experience in CBT, DBT and trauma therapy allows me to offer a diverse range of resources and treatment styles to best to support you.
