I provide therapeutic services for individuals, adults and young people as well as couples.I offer a safe, confidential non judgemental space to work on a short or long term basis depending on your individual need.
My aim is to help you address the various difficulties you may be experiencing in your life, which may include
Anxiety - There are times in our lives when anxiety can stop us from being able to function in the world and can make even the smallest problems seem catastrophic. Working together you can get an understanding of what is going on for you and change the negative cycles that you may feel are controlling you.
Depression - If you are feeling stuck in an endless low mood we can explore what is going on for you and help you to discover ways of managing your mood in order to enable you to re-engage
Stress - We can work together to reduce the effects of stress, develop skills for managing the stress in your life and lessen the burden.
Grief - Having worked for Cruse I have experiencing of dealing with bereavement and have become aware that every grief journey is unique and for some it is too traumatic and painful to explore alone. We can work together to enable you to process your emotions and develop an understanding of where you are with your sadness and loss.
Eating Disorders and Body Dysmorphia - I like to work with individuals struggling with disturbed eating and body image. My aim is to help you develop a positive self-image whilst managing the emotional impact associated with these issues.
Recent and Childhood Trauma - I can provide a safe environment for you to manage your traumatic experiences whilst increasing emotional regulation skills and self-care.
