About me

I offer acceptance, warmth and care, welcoming you into therapy, together with a belief that the therapeutic space offers you a private and confidential way to explore your desire for change. I work with adults of all ages.

Counselling works best if you are able to dedicate a regular time, say weekly, to enable your needs to be more effectively attended to. My clients also report that the regularity of focus toward themselves encourages a different perspective habit, extending beyond our therapeutic time together, all supporting their desire for change.   Seeking therapy is a courageous move, and finding a therapist you feel able to work with is the first step.

My fees starting from £75 for a 50 minute therapy session, typically weekly.

These sessions may be short term or long term, depending on what help and support you are seeking.

My practice is face to face from my London Bridge practice and also online, so please email me if you wish to book an appointment so we may start supporting you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

My post-graduate diploma, PGDip, from The Psychosynthesis Trust London, qualifies me as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor, an inclusive view of all human experience and one which offers a broad resource of support for you. I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, BACP,   which requires me to abide by the BACP Ethical Framework. Alongside my private practice I am also a Study Tutor at The Psychosynthesis Trust.

My way of working has attracted a wide range of people that bring their own unique circumstances. This affords me to include modes, ideas, and methodologies to our sessions that meet your needs; you are at the centre of our work, not a specific technique or approach. This is at the core of working as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor; to recognise the individual.

I have worked in the NHS for a large GP practice in Putney, South London and now have a private practice, working face to face and online.  I am also a Study Tutor at The Psychosynthesis Trust.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
