About me
Hello, I'm Simon, an experienced and empathic psychotherapist. I use online therapy to support you to improve mental wellbeing and live a happier, calmer life.
My approach is effective, flexible and compassionate. Rest assured that any work we do together will be confidential and will develop at your own pace. My therapy involves a combination of Client-Centred Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR.

I have over 20 years experience, the last 10 years working in the NHS within IAPT and Psychology departments.
Prior to this, I worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist/supervisor within private practice, holding several GP contracts.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Undertaking therapy can be a life changing process, resulting in increased self understanding, a greater sense of calm and more positive. As a psychotherapist , I can support you to overcome a range of mental health issues.
Weekly therapy can be booked on an open ended basis. or for an agreed period of time- it is entirely up to you. The sessions are conducted in-person or online via Zoom, WhatsApp video or phone. Each session costs £60 and the first introductory session is free.
