About me
We're often led to believe that we’re lucky to live in today's world, with all its modern comforts and opportunities, and that we should therefore not only be grateful but also feel happy and fulfilled. In reality, modern life can still be hard and overwhelming and comes with its very own challenges.
Therapy can help when life becomes hard to deal with.
There are many reasons why you might seek out therapy. It could be feelings of depression, stress, or anxiety. You might be experiencing relationship difficulties, the pain of a loss, or work struggles.
You might know exactly what it is you would like to work on, or you might feel lost, and unsure where to start. Whatever it is that brings you here, I would love to work together with you and help you find a way forward.
About me and my practice
I offer a confidential non-judgmental space in which we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you gain more clarity and agency in your life.
My training is integrative, which means I draw on a wide range of modalities (incl. humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and solution focused brief therapy), tailoring our sessions to meet you where you are and in the way you need.
I work face-to-face in Camden or online and offer both long and short-term therapy.
Long-Term or Short-Term Therapy
A longer-term commitment can be beneficial if you are seeking out therapy for long-standing topics like identity, sexuality, traumatic experiences, or perhaps a lack of fulfilment in life.
The open-ended format gives us a lot of room to explore how your past has shaped your present, supporting a deeper exploration of patterns and underlying issues that may be contributing to difficulties in your life. That said, if you prefer a shorter approach at this time, short-term therapy can still offer significant benefits.
Short-term therapy, also known as time-limited therapy, is a very good option if you would like to address specific issues within a limited number of sessions, typically between 6 and 20.
Shorter-term work is more focused and goal-oriented. This means we can work in a more targeted fashion, concentrating on the things that feel the most pressing to you, and working to help you feel better in a shorter amount of time. It can also feel more suitable if you are dealing with urgent issues or if you cannot or do not want to commit to extended therapy, but still need support for a specific concern.
Shorter-term therapy can also be a good way of experiencing therapy’s benefits and see if longer-term therapy feels worthwhile and appealing.
Topics I work with
Issues that I have worked with extensively include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, stress and burn-out, low confidence and self-doubt, grief, pregnancy-related issues, trauma, abuse, and existential issues of life and death.
I am especially passionate about working with clients facing burn-out or work-related stress as well as existential crises as these hold personal significance to me and are generally intensified by today’s fast-paced and complex world.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I charge between 70 and 100 GBP per session depending on your situation. I also offer a limited number of low-cost counselling places for those that need it. Please don't hesitate to ask if you cannot afford the full price.
