About me

I’m a fully qualified therapist, passionate about supporting adults, young adults, and children (10+), whether in person or online.

Life’s big transitions—expected or unexpected—can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to face them alone. I specialise in helping people navigate life’s turning points, offering a safe and supportive space to process emotions, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

Nothing inspires me more than guiding individuals through change—whether they’re actively seeking transformation or finding strength in the face of life’s toughest challenges. Let’s work together to create a path that feels right for you.

Life’s transitions can be challenging, but they also offer a chance for growth and self-discovery. You might be an empty-nester navigating a new chapter, redefining yourself after a divorce or illness, adjusting to life in a new country, or simply working through the natural stages of life. Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore who you are—and who you want to become.

I believe that change is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, ask new questions (big or small), and realign your inner world with the life you want to create. Let’s navigate this journey together.

I firmly believe that the heart of effective therapy lies in the relationship between client and therapist. Everyone deserves the time and space to be truly heard, to reflect, and to grow in self-awareness. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and a safe space as you navigate your counselling journey.

Together, we’ll explore both your strengths and challenges with honesty and compassion. I will help you clarify your priorities and encourage you to take meaningful steps toward the life you want.

My approach to counselling is integrative, meaning I tailor my methods to each individual’s needs. Drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Counselling, I ensure that our work together is suited to you and your unique journey.

With a background in education, I have spent many years working with children with additional needs and learning difficulties, offering them the support and guidance they deserve.

Beyond individual therapy, I also work with families, using a systemic approach to help those in close relationships better understand and support one another. This method creates a safe space for family members to express their thoughts and emotions, gain insight into each other’s experiences, and appreciate one another’s needs. By building on family strengths, we can work together to create meaningful, lasting changes in relationships and daily life.

I also work with couples helping them navigate challenges, strengthen their connection, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships through therapy."

In addition to my private practice, I also work with Cambridge Acorn Project, a Cambridge-based charity dedicated to supporting children, their families, and providing therapy within schools.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll take the time to understand what has brought you to counselling, explain how our sessions might work, and answer any questions you may have. There’s no pressure—this is your space, and you’ll have the freedom to decide if continuing feels right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
