About me
Hello, my name is Raffaele. I value each client’s unique journey and work with both adults and young people. My integrative counselling is philosophical, relational and includes Person Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, CBT, Existential and Mindfulness. I am accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (NCPS). I know it can be difficult to decide if counselling is the best choice for you. My role as a therapist is to make you feel at ease before assisting you in overcoming or managing whatever challenges life has presented to you. To help you determine if therapy with me is right for you, I offer a complimentary introductory meeting so that I can thoroughly explain the therapeutic process and how it works best for each person uniquely. Be assured, I am genuine, approachable and open mind. I offer a confidential, friendly, supportive, non-judgemental environment. A space where you can feel safe to talk about your feelings, thoughts, fears and concerns; helping you communicate and clarify what is troubling you and finding ways to work through your issues. Counselling can offer you the chance to make sense of what isn't working well in your life, and what is! Together we might make sense of how your past affects your present, and how you relate to yourself and others. By paying attention to your patterns of thoughts and behaviours, and by bringing awareness to how you experience your body we can make useful links about their combine effect. You’ll have potential to gain insight by exploring your ideas, assumptions, routines and by evaluating your core beliefs. In my practice, I feel very proud to emphasise our human potential for growth and change. Counselling offers the opportunity to feel better within ourselves and with others. We can work together to help enhance healthy, positive outcomes, attain your goals, gain confidence and move forward.
