About me

As an Integrative therapist I aim to support you when life’s demands feel overwhelming. You or your young person may be feeling  anxious or  depressed and unable to cope.

Counselling can give you a non- judgmental, confidential and space to address the issues you are facing. It can provide a way to be heard and understood.

Both big and small life events can destabilise us. Grief, relationships, parenting, family, problems at or work, school and home can all contribute to challenge our resilience and self confidence.

Perhaps you feel unable to cope and would like support to manage your life better and feel more at ease. Counselling can support you to understand your life more fully and help you to find  ways to navigate your issues safely.

In our sessions together - I aim to support you through whatever issues or struggles you are facing within a mindful, safe and relaxed space.

You may need the time and space to talk about your life, feel heard and understood. You may need to explore areas of confusion or uncertainty in different ways in order to develop clarity, strategies and clear thinking. Or perhaps you want time to process difficult experiences in order to heal and begin to expand your self awareness and grow your life towards a more hopeful future.

I will help you find a calm space in which you can reconnect with yourself in a positive, compassionate and empowering way.

I work in a collaborative way with my clients and support them to find their own solutions. I belief the client is the expert of their life and support my clients in a respectful and compassionate way.

Your emotional, psychological, and social well-being is important. It affects how you think, feel, and act on a daily level. It also helps determine how you handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through to adulthood. If yours feels out of balance please get in touch.

My style of therapy use the philosophies of:

  • Person centred- you are the expert of your life And have control.
  • Humanistic- we are equals and will  work together.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
