Having someone to listen to your concerns outside your friends and family can be a huge support, offering an unbiased ear to hear your thoughts and feelings.

Life can can be a struggle at times and can lead to feelings of helplessness anxiety and depression. Many situations can be the catalyst for these feelings, a new relationship, relationship breakdown, bereavement & loss, a new baby, new job, friendships, or any situation which evokes new feelings, the impact can suddenly tip from being manageable to suddenly negatively affecting your daily life, affecting you and your family, work and the people around you, if you can identify to any of this, let me help.

I work with adults, children and adolescents.

I have completed additional training in other models of therapy including CBT, this means I can adapt the ways I work to suit you perhaps suggesting coping strategies depending on your needs. I have also enjoyed a successful career in the telecommunications industry and have a great understanding of work-related stress, redundancy and change, I have experience with a wide variety of people with a wide variety of difficulties.

I love my work being a witness to my clients change and grow is a real privilege I'm continually grateful to be placed in a position of such trust as they move towards a more fulfilling phase of their lives.

Send me an email or message me I usually have a complimentary short introductory session or a telephone call, this is an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of what I am like, you can then decide if I'm the right fit for you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
