About me
I am an integrative counsellor who is NCPS accredited. I have extensive experience working with children and young people as an educator. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in counselling children and young people and I am currently volunteering with Place2Be, Cruse and Isabel Hospice. I am therefore experienced in counselling both adults and children using different modalities depending on the issues at hand.
Though trained in Psychodynamic, CBT and Person Centred approach, I find the latter very rewarding for the client and I sit with him/her on the 'here and now', dealing with presenting issues. Having said that, I find CBT quite equipped in techniques of changing thoughts, feelings and behaviour of a client and needless to say Psychodynamics also explores the past and provides answers for the present.
