About me

Hello and Thank You for taking the time to visit me here.

My name is Marysia and I'm here to join you on The Journey Within. With both of us fully engaged in the process, we will increase your mind-body-energy connection, explore your strengths, and recognize challenges, triggers, potential stress, anxiety, sense of hopelessness, and physical pain you might experience (if any). I will support you in uncovering patterns that might be hidden so you can decide what will be most beneficial for where you are now ( not your past, not your future, but your present self). We will talk about your energy levels throughout the day, your rhythm,  discover if you live more on autopilot, and if your current ways (of being, doing, and thinking) are actually nourishing or perhaps depleting You of energy.  Together, we will aim to bring more awareness and a fresh sense of fulfillment into how you experience life.

During our sessions, we might also unravel your authentic, often quirky, and unique parts that make you who you are, so you can show up as your full, dynamic self in both personal and professional life.

What I bring to Your Process?

Following that eclectic taste to life - I bring a diverse, holistic approach to therapy that honors your unique journey. With almost a decade of experience in business management, I understand the pressures and complexities that come with balancing personal and professional life. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles to guide and challenge negative thought patterns, cultivate healthier mindsets and recognise what is currently nurishing and what perhaps is not so helpful. While integrating somatic practices and energy work, I realize the deep connection between the body-mind-energy. I tailor each session so you can explore, grow, and achieve greater balance. Whether navigating life’s challenges or seeking personal transformation, I’m here to guide you toward more clarity, well-being and the sense of grounding.

Working with People in Business

Drawing on diverse experience, I offer tailored solutions to support executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals in navigating stress, improving focus, and achieving a healthier work-life balance. Whether you’re managing leadership challenges, burnout, or personal growth, I’m here to guide you toward greater clarity, productivity, and well-being.

Who actually am I?

I am a curious being(originally from Poland), with a twisted sense of humor and quite eclectic taste in life,  who, after over a decade in business management and years of diving into various energy work, decided to become a certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. The flavor of my work is ever-evolving, but at this point, what has been bringing results and what brings me joy is merging the practicality of CBT with the discipline of self-awareness, somatic practices & wisdom of the body. All is sprinkled with a decent (and appropriate) amount of sense of humor.

More about my approach

Following on what Dr Joe Dispenza said "Nothing changes in our lives -until we change"  Every session is adapted individually, but generally speaking, I aim  to foster curiosity, which can manifest in :

  • increasing your awareness of self and taking responsibility for your emotions, choices, and actions
  • gaining clarity about and shifting the relationship with your current triggers, anxiety, stress levels, physical tension,
  • re-connecting with yourself on a new & fresh level
  • discovering what is truly working in your favor in your current circumstances
  • creating a sustainable & intention-driven action plan to shift into a more Unified Way of Being You

Something to keep in mind is that a vital part of the CBT approach is homework, or what I call "Self-Practice" in between each session.

This Self-Practice is at the very base of our journey together, as the most important part of my approach is increasing your awareness of self & how you engage in your life with your environment, outside our sessions.

So if you are ready to explore what is getting in your way and are willing to stay open and take actual action, I look forward to meeting you in a gentle, yet dynamic and powerful space.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a SCOTACS Diploma in CBT Counselling and Groupwork from The Centre of Therapy and Counselling Studies in Glasgow, and I am a fully qualified cognitive behavioural therapist. I'm also an Energy work practitioner, who integrates Mindfulness, Body movement and Coaching into her sessions.

Having over a decade of experience in business management has taught me efficiency and ways of creating a healthy environment to mindfully grow the company. While managing the business, I have started developing my counselling skills by volunteering and later working at local charities specialising in providing therapy for people from various backgrounds, who were dealing with low self-esteem, feeling lost and misunderstood,  who were experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD ,  coping with various diagnoses, chronic pains, fibromyalgia, parkinsosn,  postnatal depression, parenting issues, birth trauma, traumatic childhood, domestic abuse, toxic relationships, burnouts and more.. Some would feel disconnected from the parts of self or have a sense of being "blocked", or "not living their full potential" or had difficulties embodying spiritual teachings in the practicality of daily life (which might seem more challenging for some of us).

Studying and exploring insights from people like Echart Tolle, Gabor Mate, Arielle Shwartz  Neal Donald Walsh, Caroline Myss, Abraham HIx , Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton , Brene Brown,Simon Sinek and many more -inspired to me to keep transforming my approach to life (..it is an ongoing process btw ), which also translates into ever-evolving therapy approach. broadened my horizons and opened my eyes and heart to more expansive and still-focused counselling and coaching offerings

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
