About me

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or struggling with anxiety? Perhaps you don’t even know how you feel right now, you just know something doesn’t feel right.

In the midst of life's changes and challenges, we often feel alone, coping the best way we know how, the trouble is - sometimes we don't know how to best support ourselves, or how we cope just seems to make things worse - as daunting as it is, seeking support is not only ok, it’s also the most empowering action you can take towards making positive change.

As an integrative therapist with experience in corporate, NHS, and education settings, I tailor my approach uniquely to you. I offer a calm, non-judgemental and safe space for you to untangle, and step back from the pressures and expectations of our fast-paced world. Together we reflect to discover what it is that you truly feel and what you need to move forward with a renewed sense of self, navigating challenges confidently, and embracing a more fulfilling life.

Whether we meet face-to-face in my private consulting room in Fareham, embark on a walk-and-talk 'outdoor counselling' session in Lee on the Solent, or connect online or via telephone, all you need to bring is you.

Taking the first step is hard, but your healing journey has already started by you searching for a counsellor. If you feel that you might like to work with me, the next step is a simple click to get in touch and schedule your appointment. I look forward to working with you. You aren't alone - I’m here to help you every step of the way.

Further information

For clients in Lee on the Solent and surrounding areas I offer walk and talk sessions,  1-hour, route and further details are tailored to individuals and confirmed during initial consultation.

What is Walk and Talk Counselling?

Walk and talk therapy is “taking the traditional counselling session outdoors”.
Outdoor sessions are good for those who may feel a little anxious or claustrophobic in the environment of a one-on-one session in a room - the potential intensity of eye contact is removed for those who find it an uncomfortable part of therapeutic work.

When we move our bodies and shift our environment, we can think differently about aspects of our lives that have before seemed immovable. Being outdoors is a physically more relaxing experience for our bodies and, therefore, our minds are freer to open up.

Working therapeutically outdoors can help with feelings of being “stuck”, as we are moving forwards in the sessions physically and the sense of looking forwards to the changes that you want from therapy.

Being outside releases endorphins and is generally mood-enhancing, can support weight loss, lowers blood pressure, boosts immunity, speeds up digestion, and improves heart health.
