About me

When you're worried, distressed or feeling low, you need to be supported and heard without judgement. My clients know they are being listened to, that they are valued, and that their issues are important.

You need time and safety to say all the things you need to say, and to heal the past.

You can choose whether you'd like to spend our time indoors, outdoors, online, or a mixture of these. You can opt in to creative therapy approaches, embodied approaches, or ecotherapy, or we can simply talk.

Please email me to arrange a free, confidential call to discuss your needs.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

Life events like separation, divorce, bereavement, or our children leaving home can destabilise us and cause great anxiety.  Ageing, becoming menopausal, or being ill or injured, can be bewildering and depressing too.

Please contact me to find out how I can help you - I'd be delighted to chat about your requirements.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information

My 'outdoors office' is within easy reach of Whaley Bridge town centre by car or on foot (on the Horwich End side). Reasonable fitness is useful, but you don't need to be especially athletic for walking and talking or ecotherapy. The outdoors belongs to all of us.

It may be possible for me to meet you in your home if you have mobility issues or a health condition or are an elder. We can talk about this.
