About me
I'm a highly experienced therapist with a Masters in Psychotherapy. I work with women who are capable, thoughtful and outwardly functioning well but who sense that something essential has gone missing for them underneath the demands of work, relationships or responsibility.
Therapy with me is a thoughtful, collaborative process. Alongside clear thinking and practical change, we also pay attention to meaning, imagery and the quieter layers of experience that don’t always fit into words.
My work is grounded in psychotherapy and informed by creative, relational and embodied approaches. The pace is thoughtful, collaborative and respectful of your own inner intelligence.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an art psychotherapist, and while art-making is always available, it isn’t required. Some clients find words enough. Others discover that images, symbols, or materials help them express what can’t be said directly. We work at your pace and honour your needs.
I work both indoors and outdoors. For some, being in nature offers a sense of grounding, regulation, and freedom that the therapy room can’t always provide. For others, the safety of an enclosed space is most important. You might prefer a hybrid approach - indoors and outdoors depending on your needs on the day (or the weather!).
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and guided by deep respect for your nervous system’s wisdom. I hold space for your pain and your hopes, helping you build safety within yourself and in connection with others.
Please contact me for a confidential chat about your needs, or for more details about REWIND trauma therapy for PTSD and/or C-PTSD. Veterans can ask for a round of REWIND therapy with no charge.
You don’t need to carry everything alone. Together, we can explore what healing and connection might look like for you.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Further information
My outdoors office is within easy reach of Whaley Bridge town centre by car or on foot (on the Horwich End side). Reasonable fitness is useful, but you don't need to be athletic for walking and talking or ecotherapy. The outdoors belongs to all of us.
It may be possible for me to meet you in your home if you have mobility issues or a health condition or are an elder, though this will impact your session fee. We can talk about this.
