About me
Hello, & thank you for reading. I'm glad you're here.
I work with women who are anxious, depressed, burned out, baffled by life, or traumatised by events, situations and relationships of all kinds.
If you've put everyone else first all your life; if you're parenting after a childhood of trauma or neglect; if you are trying to build new relationships after an experience of abuse or assault; if you struggle with impostor syndrome and poor self image, let me support you to heal, recover and build a better life.
I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” approaches. Your experiences, goals, and personality are unique, and so should your therapy be. Through tailored therapy sessions, I will work with you to explore the deeper emotions and fears holding you back from true satisfaction and balance in your life.
We can work online or in person (indoors or outdoors) and I'd be delighted to chat with you about how you & I might work together to bring you the peace you need. I offer creative, embodied and mindful psychotherapy, including sandtray work, and REWIND trauma therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
You need a compassionate ally to hold the space while you process your feelings and experiences, rediscover your identity and your passion and cultivate the rich, fulfilling life you deserve.
For a brief, solution-focused counselling, invest in 6 to 12 sessions to really master your issues.
For a deeper dive into more complex experiences, please allow yourself at least 15 sessions to explore and heal your past. You really are worth it.
Please contact me for more details about REWIND trauma therapy for PTSD and/or C-PTSD. Veterans can ask for a round of REWIND therapy with no charge.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
My outdoors office is within easy reach of Whaley Bridge town centre by car or on foot (on the Horwich End side). Reasonable fitness is useful, but you don't need to be especially athletic for walking and talking or ecotherapy. The outdoors belongs to all of us.
It may be possible for me to meet you in your home if you have mobility issues or a health condition or are an elder. We can talk about this.
