About me

Hello :)

Thank you for reading ... I'm glad you're here.

I'm a person-centred talk therapist and art therapist and I work with people who have experienced traumatic events, situations and relationships of all kinds.

I work online and in person and I'd be delighted to chat with you about how we might work together to bring you the peace you need.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a highly trained art therapist, counsellor and ecotherapist with additional trainings in embodied therapeutic approaches.

I hold a healing space for the traumatised, the neurodivergent and the just plain exhausted with it all.

We can meet in person in my comfortable room in Whaley Bridge, or we can walk and talk, or connect on Zoom or on the phone.

Art materials are available if you would like to play with more creative approaches. Wherever and however you choose to work, I'll be right there with you.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information

My 'outdoors office' is within easy reach of Whaley Bridge town centre by car or on foot (on the Horwich End side). Reasonable fitness is useful, but you don't need to be especially athletic for walking and talking or ecotherapy. The outdoors belongs to all of us.

It may be possible for me to meet you in your home if you have mobility issues or a health condition or are an elder. We can talk about this.
