About me

ABOUT ME

Welcome to my profile. I'm an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor practising in Central London and online. I work with people facing problems and difficult life challenges to help them heal, grow and transform their lives. I aim to enable clients to access their inner wisdom and live with a renewed sense of purpose, conviction and authenticity.

In therapy, we will sift through your material together to process experiences, emotions, interpersonal relationships, and life patterns to address your problems. I use a transpersonal and depth psychology approach to therapy, exploring the root cause of issues and to facilitate a journey of self-discovery.

Therapy is a safe, confidential space to discuss your circumstances with a trained professional that may be hard to speak about elsewhere. Sharing your history and emotions with someone is deeply personal and takes courage. This will be responded to with respect, compassion, non-judgement and professionalism.

MY PRACTICE

I welcome clients from all walks of life to my practice. I work particularly well with creative individuals and critical thinkers such as writers, artists, musicians, outsiders, sensitive souls and those who feel alienated by society. My experience of working as a bereavement counsellor has given me confidence working with the grieving process, existential problems, male clients, and those seeking new meaning in life after undergoing a tragedy.

Common issues brought to therapy include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-destructive habits, low self-esteem and stress. I am also experienced in working with personal development, creative blocks, life crises, trauma, betrayal, anger, narcissistic issues, mental and physical health diagnoses, imposter syndrome and perfectionism.

I trained in transpersonal, Jungian, humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic therapy models. This allows me to intuitively cater therapy to each client's personal needs. I use traditional methods such as talking therapy and can combine these with creative techniques such as active imagination, dream work, archetypal psychology, shadow work, and visualisations to empower and heal the disquieted mind, body and spirit.

I practice in the Islington/Kings Cross area and Little Venice near Paddington Station.

Sessions can also be held online or by phone.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
