About me
I'm a Kent based, BACP registered counsellor offering sessions both face to face and online. I provide support with emotional difficulty or distress.
My approach is an integrative form of counselling, including person centered, psychodynamic, existential, relational and cognitive approaches.
I believe that we are all unique and working in an integrative way enables me to provide counselling tailored to you and your situation.
Counselling offers a safe space for you to gently explore things that you may be finding difficult and creates a place to allow for more clarity and awareness within a non-judgemental environment.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with a wide range of experience. I trained for 3 years at Inter-Psyche Institute, Kent & Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. I completed the Diploma in Integrative Counselling and the Certificate in Counselling Skills. I also completed my placement at Mid-Kent Mind from October 2022 - December 2023.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My approach is to offer a safe and inclusive space where you can share the thoughts and feelings you find challenging or distressing. Within counselling we can explore things at a pace that feels right for you.
Working in an integrative way means that I can tailor the sessions to you and how we can work together through the integration of different types of counselling and psychotherapy.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), whose ethical framework I adhere to as a practicing counsellor.
If you choose to book an appointment we will have an initial 20 minute phone call free of charge. We can explore what has brought you to counselling and give you the time and space to decide whether you want to begin regular sessions. There is no obligation to work together.
If you do want to begin counselling we can arrange a regular session time for you.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and can be either face to face or online.
