About me

I am a qualified Dramatherapist based in Hope Valley. I am a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). I can offer individual and group Dramatherapy sessions face to face or online. I specialise in working with children and young people in particular those that have experienced complex trauma. I am also experienced and available to work with adults. All my work is underpinned by the belief that everyone is valuable, unique and has something to contribute. I aim to empower every person I work with to develop this belief within themselves regardless of their past or current circumstances.

I have 17 years of experience working with children, young people and adults in a variety of educational, community and professional organisations. I am passionate about creating value in my community using the therapeutic tools of theatre to inspire and make a fundamental difference to children and young people.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
