About me
We all struggle sometimes. If you are experiencing difficulties which you feel unable to solve on your own then therapy can help.
Some of us may be able to point to a specific experience in our past, or to a more recent change in circumstances as the cause. Others may not be aware of a specific issue but may be experiencing overwhelming feelings such as anxiety, depression or anger without knowing why.
Some people come to therapy with a clear outcome in mind, while others don’t know where to start – and both are OK. Therapy provides you with a safe space to start making sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. By working together at a pace that suits you, we can begin to explore whatever may be troubling you.
Most of us have things in our lives that are working well and things we would like to change. Together, we can identify the parts you’d like to keep and the parts you’d like to be different – and begin to work towards change. This is a process of you becoming more fully yourself, rather than trying to make yourself into someone you are not, or someone you think you ‘should’ be.

It is important for you to feel comfortable with your chosen therapist. I offer a free 20 minute telephone call or Zoom call during which we can talk about what you’d like to get from therapy and you can ask any questions you may have. This will enable you to begin to get to know me so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you with no obligation to continue.
