About me

It is said that ‘a problem shared is a problem halved’. If you want or need to share, I’d like to listen.

if counselling or therapy is new to you, it can feel a little daunting - but trying anything new often is. Opening up and talking about yourself and your difficulties might not feel easy.

But counselling sessions are a time just for you, led by you. They are a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and emotions. A chance to talk about your struggles or issues which bring you to seek support.

I won’t tell you what to do or tell you what is right or wrong. The answers are within you and together we can find them. It’s about exploring, reflecting, accepting and growing. I offer an integrative approach to counselling incorporating a variety of theories and techniques because every story and experience is unique. One size does not fit all.

An initial session gives us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other a little. A chance for you to ask any questions you may have. We can decide if we are a good fit and can work together because the most important part of counselling is having a good client/therapist relationship.

I hold a Princes Trust Level 5 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling practice and an AIM level 3 certificate in Hypnotherapy and counselling skills.
