About me
Feeling stuck or overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, or stress? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to face it on your own.
I’m a fully qualified counsellor offering calm, evidence-based therapy that helps you understand what’s happening, rebuild confidence and regain control. Clients tell me they feel heard, safe and deeply understood in our sessions.
I support adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, stress, relationship issues, and loss. I also welcome those seeking greater self-understanding — whether that’s exploring identity and purpose, building resilience, making sense of past experiences, or navigating life with neurodiversity.
My Approach
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk freely and explore whatever feels most important, even the difficult or darker parts, without fear of being overwhelmed or misunderstood.
I combine Person-Centred foundations (so you set the pace) with CBT tools (to challenge unhelpful thought loops) and Psychodynamic insights (to understand patterns from the past). When memories feel stuck or distressing, I can bring in EMDR to help you process them safely.
I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients, including those with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I’m committed to adapting therapy to suit each person’s unique way of experiencing and engaging with the world.
While I offer tools, techniques, and psychological understanding, therapy with me is grounded in a genuine, honest relationship built on empathy, trust, and collaboration. That connection often makes the biggest difference.
Therapy Focus Areas
I work with adults (18+) experiencing a range of challenges, including:
- Anxiety, stress & burnout
- Low self-esteem & confidence
- Identity, purpose & personal growth
- Trauma — including single-incident trauma using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
- Relationship & family difficulties
- Loss, grief & loneliness
- Career pressures & life transitions
- Neurodivergent wellbeing (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism)
I also warmly welcome men who are seeking support. More men are recognising that therapy isn’t just for a crisis, many men value a grounded, judgement-free space to reflect, manage stress and navigate change.
Getting Started
Starting therapy can feel daunting especially if it’s your first time. But it’s also a powerful step toward feeling better, clearer, and more yourself.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation by phone or video so we can talk through what you’re looking for and see if we’d be a good fit.
I’m fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS check, and work to the highest standards of ethical practice. I am a Professionally Accredited Member (PNCPS Acc.) of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, reflecting my commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed therapy and the substantial post-qualification development I’ve undertaken.

In addition to the areas listed, I support adults who are navigating questions of identity, purpose, or meaning, including those seeking deeper self-understanding or personal growth.
Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals managing chronic stress, perfectionism, or burnout, who may not feel they “fit” a label but are looking for a calm, reflective space to make sense of their inner world.
