About me
About Me
I’m a compassionate and dedicated, fully qualified counsellor with a strong commitment to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve the growth they seek. Alongside my practice, I also work as a counselling tutor, sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring counsellors.
I believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic relationship and am committed to providing a confidential, calm, and welcoming environment that fosters open communication, empathy, and non-judgmental support.
My experience as both a counselling practitioner and tutor enriches my understanding and perspective, allowing me to bring a well-rounded approach to my work with clients.
Specialisations
I work with clients on a broad range of issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, life transitions, loss and grief. I also have a keen interest in areas such as self-esteem, identity development (including life purpose), stress management, career issues, and relationship dynamics (including modern dating). My tailored approach empowers clients to build resilience and create lasting, positive change in their lives.
My Approach
I provide a safe therapeutic space for exploring your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Who I Work With
I work with adult clients aged 18+. Recently, I’ve noticed an increase in inquiries from male clients, which I warmly welcome. While I’m glad that being male may encourage more men to seek therapy, my practice is open and supportive of all clients, regardless of gender.
