About me
Hello, i'm John, an experienced Counsellor based at West Bletchley Wellbeing Centre (MK3 7DZ) for individuals and couples Counselling.
For those who prefer to work online, or might not be based in or near Milton Keynes, I am also able to offer sessions over the phone or via Zoom.
I am an affiliate Counsellor for a couple of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP's), which often means working with clients on a short term basis around issues such as: Self confidence, Bereavement, Depression or Anxiety.
I'm registered with the National Counselling Society as a Membership Body, and am also on the 'Children and Young Peoples' register, sometimes working with people from the age of 11+.
I have a keen interest in working with sexual issues, and am currently at the tail end of a Diploma focusing on working with Compulsive Sexual Behaviour. This is a longer term plan to start formal Psychosexual Counselling training in 2024.
My work areas are diverse, and often involve working with clients who are Neuro Diverse, as well as members of the LGBT+ communities.
I work with both individuals and couples, as well as those who might be in Poly relationships, or exploring other apsects of a relationship - such as Open Relationships.
Outside of my Counselling work, I work in a non Therapy role within a Sexual Health Clinic.
People come to Counselling for all different reasons, and I see it as being my role to make the sessions as comfortable as possible while we explore aspects of yourself in an open and constructive way.
If you think I might be the right Counsellor for you, feel free to get in touch.
