About me

I'm a qualified and registered counsellor with a wealth of experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide range of concerns including; depression and low mood, anxiety, guilt, shame and anger management, stress, sexual health issues, addiction to drugs or alcohol, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, grief, loss and bereavement and relationship problems.

I have a range of experience in supporting neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD.

I believe in fostering curiosity and understanding to help my clients navigate life's challenges. With a focus on creating a safe and accepting space, I aim to support you through difficult times and empower you to embrace your unique journey.

Whilst my primary approach is person-centered, I also integrate approaches such as transactional analysis (T.A), Chair work and Mindfulness techniques to meet the unique needs of each individual. My goal is to provide holistic and effective therapy that resonates with every client's journey towards healing and growth.

Working with me will centre around breaking free from negative thoughts and self-critical beliefs, empowering you to cultivate confidence and establish deeper connections with those who matter most.

If you're ready to embark on this transformative journey, I invite you to take the first step by reaching out. Your initial consultation is free and comes with no obligation to continue.

Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or any other challenges you may be facing, I am here to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore and grow.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
