About me

Hi, I'm Jill, an integrative counsellor working face to face and online with adults, adolescents, and couples. I work daily with people facing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, low self esteem, stress, self harm, trauma, family issues and relationship difficulties including domestic abuse and navigating major life changes such as becoming a new parent, divorce and bereavement.

Clients experience me as being an intuitive, honest, kind and insightful therapist who really understands them and cares for them in an empathetic and helpful way.  I help my clients find the courage to make changes in their lives, find different ways of seeing situations, strengthen their identities, choose to end their relationships or choose to forgive and move forward.

I want you to leave me with a stronger sense of who you are, what you want out of life and the confidence to go and get it.  To feel like the life you're leading is the one you have chosen rather than one that has happened to you.  To know that you are resilient and able to face the challenges that may lie ahead of you.  And the ability to ask for help and support when you need it.

The values that I live and work by are respect, integrity, authenticity, care and commitmentHumour also finds it's way in, if and when appropriate.

I work as an Integrative Counsellor, meaning that I have been trained in a number of different therapeutic modalities and will combine these in a way that best suits your needs.

I am Level 6 qualified and accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. Additionally, I am also a certified life and business coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
