About me
Welcome – I’m Jasmer Chauhan, and I’m glad you've taken the time to read my profile.
Looking for the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're not sure what you're looking for, only that something doesn’t feel quite right. It’s a personal and important decision, and it’s okay to take your time to find someone who feels like the right fit.
I’m a qualified integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to shape our sessions around your individual needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model — therapy should be as unique as you are.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, or simply navigating a difficult chapter in life, I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can work together to make sense of your experience.
I offer a free initial consultation, giving you the chance to meet with me, ask questions, and decide whether you feel comfortable moving forward — there’s no pressure or commitment, just a space to explore what you need.
My style is client-centred and collaborative, meaning your voice, pace, and experiences guide the work. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth, I’ll walk alongside you as we explore what matters most to you.
I work from a calm, professional space that’s easily accessible from Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Northampton, with free parking and lift access to make attending sessions as stress-free as possible.
If you're ready to take that first step — or simply want to find out more — I’d be very happy to hear from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
When something in our life, or the life of a loved one, is causing stress, concern, or even harm, therapy with an experienced and qualified therapist can provide a place for you to talk in a safe and confidential space without feeling judged. This is an opportunity for you to be held and heard as an individual and not as a title or role, such as mother, wife, father, husband, partner, son, daughter, etc. I have the experience, training, and capacity to work with you regardless of your gender, ethnicity, beliefs, sexual orientation, or age.
Therapy helps us to discover why we are feeling the way we do, by identifying a way of helping ourselves to move forward. The basic premise behind the therapy is for you to be able to completely offload your worries without the fear of burdening the listener with the weight of what you may be carrying. It is my role as your therapist to help you put down your concerns and regain a sense of control relating to your thoughts and emotions. By working collaboratively together you can begin to process who you are and commence the therapeutic journey of discovering why you are feeling or behaving the way that you do.
