About me

My intention as a therapist is to help you create meaningful change, including increasing self-compassion, self-confidence, achieving your personal goals and a greater sense of well-being. I strive to understand where you are at and where you would like to get to by supporting you to feel safe in embracing change.

I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your story. Perhaps you are intrigued in deprogramming previous patterns that you feel do not serve you? Creating a new foundation that starts internally and has a positive ripple effect on those close to you and around you.

Our nervous system can be overactive which can impact our thoughts, clarity, focus and sleep. I am passionate about mindfulness practices and offer tailored meditations to accompany your therapeutic journey.

I also offer life coaching sessions, working alongside you to address blocks and challenges preventing you from finding clarity and direction to your goals.

Therapy and coaching can support that leap of faith. We can work towards you feeling safe to expand beyond what you know. When you are ready you can call me on 07956570473 or if you prefer, you can email me. I offer free telephone consultations, a chance for you to see if we are the right fit for your journey ahead.

Training, qualifications & experience

I embrace difference, diversity and identity be it racial, cultural, sexual or gender-based.

My therapeutic experience includes working with young people in school settings, domestic abuse, those troubled by alcohol or substance misuse, families experiencing complex emotional dynamics and individuals experiencing depression and anxiety.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
