About me

Hi, my name is Jane and I am an Integrative Counsellor. Often coming to counselling seems a little unnerving but please do not let that put you off. Most people are pleasantly surprised how quickly they begin to feel the benefits from therapy. Please if you feel you need support, seek it out and contact a counsellor of your choice.

Sometimes in life we may struggle with negative experiences, stresses and loss, and this can result in our world becoming a darker, smaller, less enjoyable place to be. If this something you can relate to, you have come to the right place. As a fully qualified integrative therapist, I can support you.

Working together in the counselling space our aim is to make sense of the confusing, burdensome feelings, emotions and behaviours, that are holding you back in life.

Counselling offers a safe, nurturing, confidential, non judgemental space for you to awaken your awareness, explore and reassess your situation.

As an integrative therapist, I tailor your therapy to your needs. Incorporating theories, tools and techniques from various psychological genres.

Working in a relaxed, informal manner my objective is always to make you feel safe, confident and comfortable to find, embrace and be who you really are.

I am currently working in a primary care setting with a wide range of issues. Also, I have started in private practice with Tri Synergy Counselling, a new and exciting counselling service. If you feel I could be the therapist for you, I would welcome hearing from you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
