About me
You may have reached a point where something feels different.
You might not be able to fully explain it—but you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore.
Perhaps you feel overwhelmed more easily than you used to. More tired. More emotionally stretched. Or maybe life has begun to feel like something you’re just getting through, rather than something you’re fully part of.
For many women I work with, this shift can happen around times of transition—such as perimenopause, changes in relationships, or when life has been spent putting others first for so long that there’s little space left for you.
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to make sense of it alone.
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can gently explore what’s going on for you at your pace.
My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in curiosity.
I will meet you where you are—without judgement or pressure to have the “right” words. Sometimes I may gently challenge patterns or ask questions like “What happened to you?”—not to push, but to help us understand your experience more fully.
Together, we can begin to make sense of what feels overwhelming, confusing, or painful, and explore what you might need now.
This is your space, and we will work at a pace that feels safe for you.
I work with people who may be experiencing:
- Feeling lost or disconnected from themselves
- Overwhelm, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion
- Life transitions, including perimenopause and menopause
- Grief and loss (including identity, roles, and life expectations)
- The impact of always putting others first
- Low self-worth or difficulty prioritising their own needs
- A sense that “something needs to change” but not knowing what
What you can expect
Therapy with me offers a space where you don’t have to hold everything together.
We can slow things down. Make sense of what’s been building. And gently begin to reconnect you with yourself—at a pace that feels safe.
You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out.
Sometimes it’s enough to notice that something doesn’t feel quite right anymore.
If this resonates with you, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
We can begin with a conversation and see how it feels to talk.
Training, qualifications & experience
I support people who are living with anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, grief, and the emotional and physical changes that come with perimenopause and menopause. My work centres on meeting people where they are and helping them navigate these experiences with understanding and care.
Before I retrained as a Psychotherapist, I worked as a Mental Health Nurse, and from this, I bring a wealth of experience, having worked in a variety of settings, including acute in-patient environments, assessment services, specialist psychosis services, and higher education settings. I then began my training as an Integrative Psychotherapist, bringing that knowledge with me, helping me look at the person as a whole. I assure you that you are in safe hands when starting your therapy journey with me. I am registered with The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and abide by their code of ethics.
- Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy
- BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Diploma in Pre-Registration Mental Health Nursing (Qualified RMN)
I attend clinical supervision sessions in accordance with BACP guidelines and am committed to ensuring my continued professional development.

Additional information
I offer a 20-minute free informal call prior to booking a session, giving you the chance to ask any questions you have. There is no such thing as a silly question, so please ask whatever you need to know. This call is also an opportunity to see how you feel talking to me as it's important to find a counsellor that you feel at ease with. From here we can establish whether we are suited to start work together.
Sessions last for 50 minutes at a cost of £55.00 (concessionary rates as above) and are provided on a weekly or biweekly basis. When we have found a time that suits us both this will be your regular slot, on the same day at the same time to give us a stable base to work from.
