About me

Do you struggle to say no, taking too much on at your own expense? Do you feel overwhelmed, under appreciated and exhausted? Do you feel lost, struggling to identify your own needs and opinions? Are you tired of feeling like you're not good enough, constantly comparing yourself to others and worrying what they may think of you? Do you feel low, empty, anxious, angry or ashamed?

I have felt this way too. But the good news is, you don't have to live this way.

I'll work with you towards feeling calmer, lighter, and accepting of yourself just as you are... Because you matter too.

I'm Hannah, a down to earth Pluralistic Counsellor and I help people with feelings of low self-worth. I believe that different approaches work for different people at different times in their lives. I have learnt a variety of different ways to meet your needs and always take into account your uniqueness as a person to ensure you get the most out of our therapy sessions.

I offer a safe, friendly, non-judgemental space that is confidential where you will feel fully heard, understood and supported to explore yourself and your feelings. Somewhere that allows you to let it all out, everything that you have kept inside your head because you had nowhere else to keep it.

I can work with you towards caring less about what other people think of you and having a better view of yourself with a sense of acceptance. We can work together to get to know yourself, reconnecting with your voice and opinions. I can help you to set boundaries, and gain the confidence to express them, allowing more time for yourself. We can work together to create lasting change, breaking free from those self-sabotaging patterns that are no longer helping you.

If this sounds like you, and you are ready to change please contact me so we can work together.

Therapy can be challenging but it can also be collaborative, inspiring, kind, and sometimes even fun!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
