About me
If you're wondering about counselling, and scrolling through profiles thinking - how do I know which ones for me? I get it. It can feel pretty strange.
You just want to get started, with someone safe, who can help you understand what’s going on.
I'm friendly, down-to-earth, and aim to give you a warm welcome so that you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.
I work with people like you who are fed up with feeling like you're repeating the same patterns, and ready to explore how you can make changes in your life, put in solid boundaries and feel more like yourself again.
I might be the right counsellor for you if you want to:
➡️Share your thoughts and feelings openly without someone telling you what they think you should do
➡️Have a safe space where someone tries their best to understand things from your perspective and gently brings things to your attention so that you can explore certain elements at greater depth
➡️Be able to be honest, laugh and grow without judgement
➡️ Even when you need to swear or cry (Especially then!)
➡️Possibly give some creative therapy exercises a go!
I often work with people who are feeling:
➡️Stuck
➡️As though their relationships follow repeating patterns
➡️Like they can't put their finger on exactly how they are feeling
➡️They have difficulty voicing what they want or need from others, or in life
➡️People who are questioning whether they are safe in their relationships or if they want to leave
➡️People who are recovering from toxic, neglectful or abusive relationships
