About me

Maybe you're the person who always holds it together. The one people lean on. You're not in crisis - just quietly exhausted, and you can't quite put your finger on why.

A lot of my clients grew up in homes where they were safe enough, but their emotional world wasn't really... noticed. No one asked how you felt. Or if they did, it didn't seem to matter much. So you learned to get on with it. And you've been getting on with it ever since.

That's childhood emotional neglect - it doesn't always look like trauma. It looks like high-functioning adults who feel hollow, struggle to trust their own needs, or wonder why connection never feels quite right.

I'm Hannah. I'm a counsellor with a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, and I work online with adults who are ready to stop just coping and start understanding themselves properly.

My style is warm and pretty informal; sessions feel more like an honest conversation than anything clinical. I won't just nod and reflect things at you. I'll gently challenge you when it's useful, and I'll be straight with you when something's worth paying attention to. Sweary or shy, you can just be yourself.

I specialise in this area because I know it from both sides, personally and professionally. And I've seen how much can shift when someone finally feels understood rather than managed.

If you've read this far and something in here sounds familiar, that's usually a sign. The first step is just a conversation. I offer a free introductory call with no pressure to commit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy alongside a Level 4 Diploma (NCPS accredited), with specialist training in CBT, trauma, childhood emotional neglect, neurodiversity, and working online. I also hold an enhanced DBS and commit to ongoing CPD.

My approach is integrative, rooted in person-centred values but practical when it needs to be. I don't think healing is just about talking; sometimes it's about figuring out what to actually do differently, too.
