About me

Hello, my name is Gina, I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, registered with BACP.

Life can be challenging, and everyday issues can soon become unmanageable when we are not feeling ourselves. We all need some help and support at some point in our life's and part of being emotionally healthy is knowing when to ask for help.

The way I work is to integrate different approaches to best support you as a unique person. I offer you a safe, confidential secure space to be heard and explore what's going on for you, respectfully and without judgement. It is my full believe that you have the answers and abilities to find your own way, sometimes we just get lost and need some support and guidance.

What to expect: I offer a free initial assessment in which we will explore, what's going on for you, what support you may need and how I may be able to offer that. Within the centre there are a team of counsellors and therapists that can also offer you support if we felt that was a better option.

This initial session is free of charge and I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments.

Practicalities: I work from Serenity Self Care & Wellbeing in the centre of Darwen, based on the first floor of Holker House (Darwen Heritage trust are on the ground floor), there are stairs to the therapy rooms so please check with me if you have any disability.

Payment: All Major Credit/Debit Cards, Cash or Bank transfer payments.

Getting there:

By Car: Free parking is available outside, across and at the back of the building, the market roof top offers further free parking.

By Bus: Directly across from Darwen Town Centre bus station.

By Train:  Darwen train station is a couple of minutes walk away.

Training, qualifications & experience
