About me

Hello and Welcome! My philosophy and approach is based upon offering a discreet, compassionate, and empowering clinic for you to work towards achieving your therapy goals. I believe anyone can benefit from CBT even if they are experiencing problems in one area, or are ready to make some bigger changes.

As a CBT therapist, I bring not only my professional expertise but also a warm and compassionate approach to our sessions. Don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions. Starting therapy can feel daunting but I am here to guide you through the process easily and sessions are carried out collaboratively in a non rushed environment.

I specialise in issues with as generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, self esteem issues, confidence issues, and depression/low mood. I'm here to listen without judgment, offer insights, and help facilitate change. I have experience working with young adults to retired individuals and have done some specific work with MS patients and students at University of Glasgow.

Through CBT, I aim to empower you with tools to better understand and manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Together, we will work on building resilience, fostering positive change, and achieving your goals. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a therapist is seeing clients make positive changes and you have my commitment to from day one.

I also have the capacity to offer therapy to therapists studying as part of their course and for self reflection purposes.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
