About me
Hello, my name is George a Person Centred counsellor with a focus on exploration and self-help situated in County House in the centre of Worcester just around the corner from Worcester crown court.
My contains over a decade's worth of experience working with the homeless as well as providing support and guidance through all of the issues that members of this group may have to face as a result of this.
Following my own experiences working with vulnerable adults I found that the best way to help individuals is to help them to regain agency in their own lives which led me to finding my way into learning counselling skills which then developed into wanting to take the next step to become a fully qualified counsellor.
My experience working with this group over the years has really shown me the value of collaboration with clients to explore their challenges, identify goals, and develop personalised strategies for growth and self-improvement.
With proper support any of us can correct the direction our lives are taking when we want to.
Primarily I work within the Person Centred method due to it's core belief that we as individuals have the resilience and capacity to recover and grow no matter the situation.
What this means for you as the client is that you are in charge of the decision making process as far as what we look at when working together as well as when we stop. You are the expert in the room as who can know more about you than yourself?
I am commited to creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment where you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.
By creating this space where we can safely explore your difficulties and challenges together we can work to improve the quality of the growth and understanding you may achieve while also helping you to potentially leave things behind that either do not belong to you or are no longer helpful.
Ultimately this means that as the client you decide what it is we will be talking about each session whether it is recent, historic, a challenge or a victory. I will be there to join you in that exploration without judgement or trying to "fix it".
If any of this resonates with you or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I'm here to provide support and guidance as you navigate your journey towards personal growth and self-discovery. Whether you're ready to schedule an initial consultation or simply want to learn more about how counseling can help you, I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
