Gemma Anderson Counselling Practitioner (Reg BACP member)
My name is Gemma and I specialise in Anxiety and depression, however I work also in many other areas included in my details below.
Im aware that deciding whether Counselling is right for you can be daunting and Im sure you have many questions, which is why i offer a first free session so that I can clearly explain what i do and how it works best for each person uniquely and so you can decide if in fact its what you want going forward.
I am human as you are and so I really do pride myself on being genuine and open and honest and my job as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable in the room and then help you on your journey to overcome or manage whatever it is life has thrown your way.
I feel very passionate about my work I do with each of you and so I can assure that my main focus is you and your journey through the sessions.
Why would you choose me over someone else?
An Important part of counselling and its process is choosing the right Counsellor for you. This is where you can feel safe and heard and the knowing that the Counsellors main focus is you and your well being.
So by entering into the counselling process with myself I can assure :-
* Safe and confidential
* Review of therapy on a regular basis to ensure your getting the best out of the sessions
* Non - Judgemental
* Due to the knowledge I have of different therapies it enables me to work in a way where I can adapt to suit your needs as a client.
I offer a private and confidential practice based within a well established counselling practice and I abide by the code of ethics that are put in place by the British Association of Counselling & psychotherapy.
I also have valid Insurance.
