About me

Life can be challenging and difficult at times, it can bring complexities which we can find difficult to navigate. Therapy can bring a real difference to how we view ourselves, others and interact with the world around us. It can create a space in which you can explore, be curious and understand yourself. Enabling you to make changes and lead a more positive life.

My private practice is based in Petersfield, Hampshire. I offer online and face to face appointments, in a professional and compassionate Therapy space. Working with clients to make sense of their issues and emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Exploring understanding of self and guiding clients to adopt skills and techniques to support their journey and to help make positive changes. I work as an Integrative Therapist, drawing upon a range of Therapeutic approaches including Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Alongside my private practise, I work within an NHS Talking Therapy Team providing support for clients with a variety of presenting difficulties providing Low Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I commonly work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low mood, relationship issues, grief, low motivation, and trauma (childhood and adult). I have a particular interest in the link between mental and physical health and childhood family dynamics and trauma.

My private practice is within easy access from the town centre and the A3 and M25. And within 5 minute walking distance from Petersfield Train Station with direct transport links to Guilford, Haslemere and London. As well as offering face to face sessions, I also offer sessions online and home visits.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
