About me

I offer talking therapy and creative therapy to people who experience difficulty in communicating, expressing and processing traumatic and complex experiences. My passion for providing a safe, ethical and trauma informed therapeutic environment, creates a space for people to express and work through their experiences in a non-judgemental process that is inclusive and personalised to each client. While my practice can involve working creatively through art psychotherapy, it is not limited to this service, as I also provide a psychotherapy practice.

Training, qualifications & experience

I gained an MSc in Art Psychotherapy in Ulster University and qualified in 2022. Following my training I have worked with people through cases of direct and indirect impacts of suicide, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, grief, domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse, relationship issues, people with extra needs such as ADHD, ASD, ADD, OCD and other mental/physical issues, addiction and anxiety disorders.

Throughout my practice, I have developed an appreciation for working with client's culture, environmental and generational influences as I have an understanding of how these influences impact a person's life.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
