About me

Hello and welcome to my profile.

I am a (BA Hons) Humanistic Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy to adults and young people both online and face to face. I am a registered member of the NCPS and work in accordance with their Codes of Ethics and Professional Practice.

Life isn't always easy to process on your own and talking with an impartial professional outside of your network can be a transformative experience. You may be feeling alone, vulnerable, anxious, depressed, angry or overwhelmed with a combination of lots of feelings. I can help you to explore this in order to empower you to make the necessary changes to live a more fulfilling life.

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional issues and believe very strongly in the healing experience this unique therapeutic relationship can offer a client.

What to expect from me..

I will strive to provide you with a relationship where you will feel safe to talk openly and honestly about your inner most thoughts and feelings in a confidential and secure environment. Hopefully the therapeutic relationship that we will build will allow you to understand yourself better.  I focus on understanding and exploring your unique world and how you perceive it. You may want to address a specific issue and/or together we could work to understand your values and beliefs, your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the outside world. I work collaboratively with my clients as I believe you are the expert on you and that therapy is done with you, not to you!

I am an ally of the LGBT+ community and very much enjoy working with this client group.

For young people a 50 minutes session may seem daunting, when this is the case I can offer 30 minute emotional support sessions.

I offer a free 15 minute zoom consultation. We can explore whether I am the right therapist for you and can discuss what you would like to achieve and ask any questions.

I currently have availability to see clients from my home in Woodgate (PO20) or online via zoom.

Please feel free to call, text or email me.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

As a Humanistic therapist I work with your individual experience of what brings you to therapy.  No two people's experience of a similar issue will effect them in the same way.  I am therefore able to see clients who are facing a very broad range of issues and not limited to the issues listed above.
