About me

Hi I’m Ellie.

I offer a confidential, safe space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind, without fear of being judged. We will work together at your pace, exploring what matters to you. You can bring your unfiltered, authentic self into the room, and together we’ll make sense of the difficult moments with honesty, compassion, and care.

I specialise in working with people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, abuse, relationship struggles, (romantic, platonic and family) trauma, and loss. Most of the people I work with want the same thing - to feel calmer, happier, more connected, and more at ease with their lives.

Being a humanistic counsellor means I see you as a whole person, not just a list of problems or labels. I believe you have the inner resources to make sense of your life but sometimes these can feel lost.  I’m here to help you untangle things to make your life easier to live in.

Part of why I do this work is because I know what it’s like to sit in deep emotional pain and wrestle with the curveballs life throws. It means when I sit with clients in their pain, grief, or struggle, I’m not just nodding along; I can genuinely meet them there. It allows me to connect with others in a way that’s real, human, and deeply empathetic.

I offer a free 15 minute video consultation so we can explore whether I am the right therapist for you and can discuss what you would like to achieve and ask any questions.

I currently have availability to see clients from my home in Barnham (PO22) or online.

Please feel free to call, text or email me.

I have a degree in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy and continue to develop my work through regular CPD. I am a registered member of the NCPS and work in accordance with their Codes of Ethics and Professional Practice.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

As a Humanistic therapist I work with your individual experience of what brings you to therapy.  No two people's experience of a similar issue will effect them in the same way.  I am therefore able to see clients who are facing a very broad range of issues and not limited to the issues listed above.
