About me
Hello my name is Elizabeth. I am a Counsellor /Psychotherapist /couple counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.
What is Counselling? it is a talking therapy that offers you a space to share, in confidence, difficulties in your personal life with someone who is professionally trained which I am . i will help you explore and unlock feelings which may have been hidden for years.Counselling assists you to uncover hidden links, which in turn may allow greater freedom of thought and action. The aim is to help explore and understand feelings, and to help you to work towards a better future. I am able to explore relationship difficulties in order to work towards living in a more satisfying and resourceful way with in those relationships . I am trained to listen carefully and be impartial and non-judgemental.
I have 18 years experience work in a professional compassionate and focused way. I work with an integrative model draw upon different interventions tools such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person Centered, Psychotherapy, Transactional Analyses, Humanistic Therapy to help make a therapy plan which works for you. I have worked with people from age 18 in various organisations such as: General Practice, Hospice, Rape Crisis, Domestic Violence ,and General Counselling Services.
I am also a couple and Family counsellor work with for example , couples , Mum and adult daughter(18 and above) relationship, Father and adult children, Brothers, sisters.
Also I have experience in other areas of work such as Finance Sector, Project Management, People Managing and as a Director so I am able to bring a great understanding and empathy for those working in a highly professional environments.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Face to Face counselling £65 per 50 minute session
Telephone and Online Therapy Fees £55 ( 50 minute session)
Adult Sibling Counselling £80 60 minute session .
Couple Counselling £88 60 minutes session
Clinical Supervision £85 for 90 minutes
Supervision fees online only £90 for a 90 minute session ( lower fees available for students )
