About me
I offer outdoor therapy sessions. These walk and talk sessions sometimes suit people who prefer to be outdoors in a natural environment as it can promote an easier conversation. I also offer a safe consultation space in my own home as well as online sessions.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, panic attacks, relationship issues, work difficulties, parenting, unhappiness as well as grief, bereavement and loss of any kind. I offer a space to explore loss of meaning in life, personal growth and inner enquiry, through a spiritual but not religious approach.
You may not know exactly what’s troubling you but things just don’t seem right. We can work together to help you find ways to feeling better or understand yourself more fully.
Who do I work with?
I work with individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I am experienced in working with adults, people of different faiths and LGBTQ communities
Where do I work?
I provide a confidential, safe space on the outskirts of the city which is easy to access via road and rail. I also work outdoors on the canal, rivers, woods and hills around Bath.
What's my approach?
I have a person-centred approach and use transactional analysis (TA) as a working tool and start from where you are.
When working outdoors I use the outdoor space, the landscape, and the climate to help you articulate your feelings and emotions and to help you gain a better understanding of what's going on for you. Room-based counselling isn't for everyone and being outdoors can give you a different kind of 'space' in which to explore personal issues.
I am spiritually minded, in a non-religious way, and offer sensitive, non-judgmental sessions to help you find inner connection and explore life from a different perspective. I am trained as a Spiritual Companion through the Spiritual Companion Trust
If you are interested in finding out more, we can have an initial chat by telephone or email where you can ask any questions and find out as much as you need to before making the decision to work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
