About me

I am a fully qualified counsellor, and a Registered Member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer counselling to clients,  in confidential and supportive space. Having completed training with CRUSE and worked with their clients, I offer support with bereavement. I also work with unaccompanied and young asylum seekers (UASC). I work both short and long term with clients depending on your needs, and I work with a range of issues. I can help you with anxiety, depression, work related stress, trauma,  LGBTQ+ issues, abuse, addictions, anger, loss, health issues, identity, men's issues, cultural issues, relationships, obsessions, self-harm, sexual identity, low self-esteem and many other reasons you might want to talk to someone.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Therapist. My approach allows me to draw from different modalities such as Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT. This allows me to tailor therapeutic work around your individual needs. Working safely and ethically is crucial to me. I aim to provide a safe environment for you in our work together.

A counsellor or therapist can have years of experience and training, however, in order for it to work well, a strong and trusted relationship is needed. For this to happen I ensure I work in a confidential, supportive and a non-judgmental way.

As human beings we are very complex creatures, no doubt about that! Sometimes we are stuck! Events of our lives can get in the way. You may be experiencing a challenging stage in life, a conflicted state of mind or a difficulty within yourself, or difficulties with others. When things reach a point where you are unable to deal with it alone, it can help to talk to someone who is independent from every other area of your life. I am able to listen to your thought and feelings and we can explore together. I can help you gain valuable insight into your situation, and help you bring about much-needed change. You don’t have to suffer in silence or do it on your own!

Training, qualifications & experience

I started my journey in this field as a support worker in a Pupil Referral Unit in Lewisham supporting some of the most vulnerable 14–16-year-old students who were excluded from mainstream schools. Realising how much I loved the work, I decided to undertake formal training.

My qualifications are:

  1. Level 6 Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups (2024 - In the process)
  2. Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (2021)
  3. Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (2020)
  4. Certificate in Counselling Studies (2018)

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
