About me
Are you considering counselling?
I'm a Level 6 qualified Humanistic Psychotherapist and Counselling Supervisor with over 10 years’ experience working therapeutically with a wide range of clients and concerns. I offer in-person sessions at my private practice in Falmouth, as well as online therapy for those who prefer the comfort and convenience of accessing counselling from home. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
My practice is located a short distance from Falmouth town centre, where I offer face-to-face sessions at my private counselling office. Online therapy is also available via a secure, encrypted video platform—ideal for clients with limited mobility, time constraints, or difficulties with travel.
I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential therapeutic space where you can explore and work through challenging issues and life events. These may include anxiety and panic, depression, trauma, bereavement and loss, self-image concerns, inner conflict, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.
I have a particular interest in working with:
· Personal growth and wellbeing
· Resolving traumatic experiences
· Navigating significant life transitions
· Men’s issues and healthy masculinity
Our sessions provide a supportive, compassionate space where we can explore your concerns through a humanistic talking therapy approach. This may include techniques such as Focusing—bringing mindful awareness to physical sensations to deepen self-understanding; Parts Work—engaging in dialogue with different aspects of your personality to ease inner conflict; and gentle exercises designed to reduce tension and anxiety.
Together, we’ll reflect on emerging insights and integrate meaningful changes as they arise. Periodically, we’ll hold review sessions to evaluate your progress, identify what’s working well (or what might need adjusting), and tailor our approach to best support your unique needs.
Our first session is a full working meeting where we’ll explore what has brought you to counselling. We’ll discuss any hopes or goals you may have for therapy, as well as your preferences for how you’d like to work together.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I blend a range of approaches tailored to your individual needs. Research shows that acknowledging and incorporating client preferences significantly enhances therapeutic outcomes. Throughout our work together, we’ll regularly review what is—or isn’t—working for you, ensuring your therapy remains effective and supportive.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
