Claire Ryall MBACP (Accred)
About me and my Service:
I have been in Counselling Practice since 2003. I offer one to one counselling to adults and teenagers at my private practice, a comfortable, confidential studio.
I also offer Equine Assisted Therapy - working with horses/nature & the environment.
I am well located to offer counselling to Service Personnel & family members - offering Professional awareness of the particular problems experienced by Service personnel and families.
I take referrals from The Headache Clinic, Yeovil. www.theheadacheclinic.co.uk
I also offer Parent Support and Advice to parents of children of all ages and have worked as a Comprehensive school counsellor since 2003.
About my approach:
My therapeutic approach is humanistic, Integrative, and transpersonal. I use CBT techniques as part of my therapeutic approach. I include the use of visualisations or relaxation techniques to help bring balance, but always in a safe and nurturing environment; and I offer my clients Bach flower remedies, if required.
Counselling can lead to Improved self-esteem and confidence, can help develop a greater sense of worthiness and can help improve personal relationships, work issues, and sporting performance.
It is my belief that each client is unique, and has individual needs, values and priorities. We work together to draw on that inner capacity for positive change, that we all have deep down.
Within my work I also offer 'Parent Support & Advice' which is tailored to the needs of each family/parent. Themes may include Triple P concepts,(Positive Parenting Program), a scientifically researched family support strategy designed to help parents improve their parenting skills and build positive relationships with their children. www.triplep.net
