About me
Have you ever asked yourself:
- Why do I think this way?
- Am I going mad?
- Why do I always feel depressed?
- Why do I always ruin everything?
- Am I unlovable?
- How can I get what I want?
- What do I really want?
- Does everybody hate me?
- Why am I so stupid?
- Will I ever get over it?
Do you need an emotional systems upgrade?
We can all experience problems from time to time; this does not mean you are weak, it just means you're human. However, we can modify our emotional and cognitive systems to alleviate distress and to improve functionality.
I am an integrative psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, mental health practitioner, trainer and coach, with an emphasis on inter-personal relationships.
My practice is called Assimilative Integration which means that I have been professionally trained in numerous different theoretical approaches, and I assimilate these modes depending on the client. In short, the therapy is designed and built around your needs.

Therapeutic Services
Often, counselling and psychotherapy can help us come to terms with our history and assist us in making sense of it. Counselling can also help us move forward with agreed goals and objectives. However, Counselling can often be too restrictive and often does not offer us the flexibility to learn and thrive. Therefore, I offer a model based upon the therapeutic benefits of counselling but with the flexibility and forward moving attitude of Coaching. This enables me to really work completely within all areas of the client's life (e.g. career, relationships, sexlife, ambition, business, finance, etc.). In practical terms, this means we do not need to restrict ourself to the usual settings of counselling (e.g. the therapy room), or the other usual counselling restrictions (e.g. non-advisory, too reflective, too passive, too long!!!). We can really start to make a real difference in your life!!
There are options in your life and there is a way to improved living and performance!!!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
