About me

Are the ups and downs of your every day seem to be getting more difficult to manage? Is there a sense of sadness or anxiety about things you can't seem to let go of? Feeling stuck, overwhelmed or depressed?

Noticing and taking care of our mental health is really important. What you really want to share might be too embarrassing or difficult to talk about with family or friends. Don't struggle with this alone reach out for some help. I offer a confidential safe space, with a compassionate listening ear and open mind for you to talk at your pace.

I am a qualified counsellor who uses a person-centred (talking) approach, a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists my work is shaped by their Ethical Framework and commitment to clients.

I work with those experiencing mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. Low self-esteem, issues of identity, sexuality, trauma, shame, and negative childhood experiences. 

I offer, by appointment sessions in person, securely via Online Video or by Telephone. 

Training, qualifications & experience


  • CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. 
  • Online & Telephone Counselling CPD
  • CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Theory 
  • CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills 
  • BSc Degree (Psychology/Counselling/Social Modules)

I volunteer one day a week working with a charity based organisation counselling Adults in Cirencester and Youth Counselling Service (16-19yrs) in Swindon. Both services align with my personal belief that accessible, affordable counselling is made available to all.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
