About me

Looking for a counsellor and admitting to yourself that you need support and guidance can be daunting and overwhelming.  Let me reassure you, the first step can be the hardest and that's a normal feeling, but you are already taking a step in the right direction.

My name is Ayesha, and I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist registered with BACP. I have over 25 year's experience working within the field of mental health. I have effectively worked with a diverse range pf people with an array of different needs, life challenges, trauma, and experiences. Working with various diagnosis and presenting needs within Social Services, charities, primary and secondary schools and NHS working with young people, adults and families,

How can I help?

Are you searching through here knowing that you have family & friends who care and love you? yet you feel alone with no one who you feel you can talk too, No one you feel that you can be your "real" and "honest" self.?  Worried that you may hurt or upset their feelings or that they may even judge you or your choices?

At times during different stages of our life's we can experience challenges, changes, loss, pain or suffering that can be hard for us to understand.  These feelings and emotions can have an impact on us as individuals in a unique way,

When we take the time to allow ourselves to be curious about the way we are with our relationships, day - day behaviour and reactions to situations and allow ourselves to explore with the past and present. It enables us to gain a better understanding of the existing dynamics and identify patterns that are recurring that you may wish to change. Together we can work on changing these patterns whilst enhancing your autonomy and voice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
