About me
Welcome, whatever has brought you here today maybe I can help. It takes strength to recognise something is not right in your life and to reach out to find someone to assist you achieve a solution through therapy.
Finding the right therapist is important, someone you connect and feel comfortable with. I offer an initial free session of 30 minutes to hear about the issues on your mind and provide you the opportunity to get a feeling for how I work, without any obligation to continue with me. This can be on line or the phone, simply email me to arrange.
Building a therapeutic relationship within which you feel comfortable is so important for you to feel safe to explore your own thoughts, feelings or behaviours. I provide a non-judgemental, empathic and confidential space for you to talk about things you might not be able to discuss with anyone else. The benefits of talking therapy are waiting for you to explore.
As well as long term therapy, I offer brief (6-12 sessions) to adults and couples. I provide face to face and on-line sessions. I understand the pressure of a busy life so offer appointments throughout the week to suit your schedule and work flexibly for people who have a varied work pattern.
How I work
It is part of human nature to try and make sense of life, others and ourselves. Being an attuned therapist who not only seeks to understand your experience, I provide space for you to sort out your problems and pain without judgement, a confidential and empathic working relationship where you can talk about things you might not be able to discuss with anyone else.
I work relationally which means I believe the therapeutic relationship is instrumental to affecting change for you. We would work collaboratively to identify your strengths and areas for growth to enable you to build resilience to bring about change.
Where am I based
I work in Warnham, West Sussex.

Further information
To explain more about Transactional Analysis (TA).............
The philosophy of TA is that everyone is OK, we all have the capacity to change, and we all decide our own destiny and these decisions can be changed. It is an extremely effective mode of psychotherapy based on a theory of personality and systemic psychotherapy for personal change and personal growth.
I am a qualified counsellor holding the UKATA Diploma in Transactional Analysis and continue to work towards qualification as a TA psychotherapist.
